Hair Growth Nutraceutical

Women’s Balance is a daily hair growth supplement designed for women before, during, and after menopause. We use medical-grade, natural ingredients to target root causes of thinning, such as: hormones, aging, and metabolism. Our physician-formulated, award-winning formula results in visibly thicker, fuller, stronger hair for women through and beyond menopause.

Nutrafol is serious about facts.

What is a Nutraceutical?
“Nutrient” + “bioactive" = “Nutraceutical". Nutraceuticals are medical-grade, bio-optimized botanical ingredients—which is exactly what you'll find in our hair growth supplements. They're standardized to contain guaranteed amounts of bioactive phytonutrients, and tested for efficacy and healthy use in clinical studies showing specific bioactivities, health benefits, and growth improvements. We took the extra step to patent our Nutraceutical ingredient blend, too
.

Is Nutrafol suitable for everyone?

Not only is Nutrafol suitable for most people, but our hair growth supplements are specifically formulated to meet you where you are in life.

We have 4 Nutraceutical formulas that are tailored to the bio-specific needs of men and women throughout all life stages:

  •         Women's,
  •         Postpartum for the first year after childbirth or while breastfeeding,
  •         Women's Balance for peri- and postmenopause,
  •         Men’s.

Please note: We do not recommend Nutrafol to anyone under the age of 18. Also, while we have no reason to believe it's harmful, there have not been enough studies for us to say Nutrafol is suitable during pregnancy—so we recommend skipping it while pregnant or trying to conceive and sticking with Nutrafol Postpartum while breastfeeding. If you have a medical condition, or are taking medications (especially anticoagulant and blood-thinning drugs), please consult with your physician before taking

Will Nutrafol work for my hair type?

Nutrafol products were formulated to promote hair growth and hair wellness for all types of hair. While the characteristics of hair strands may vary by ethnicity, the underlying root causes that affect hair follicles can affect all people equally.
In a recent clinical study, we examined the effectiveness of Nutrafol in African American, Asian, Hispanic, and non-Hispanic men and women. All ethnicities saw less shedding after 2 months and improved thickness, growth rate, scalp coverage, and shine after 6 months of taking our Hair Growth Nutraceuticals.

Why are these products better than other dietary supplements on the market?

We're the #1 dermatologist-recommended hair growth supplement for a reason. We take a whole-body approach to hair growth by targeting multiple root causes of thinning hair. Plus, our products are physician-formulated with natural, medical-grade ingredients backed by clinical studies and published research. Many supplements are not clinically tested, have variable potency, and are poorly absorbed.

Does Nutrafol contain any drugs?

No, Nutrafol is 100% drug-free.

I know certain hair growth treatments can cause side effects. Is this true for Nutrafol?

Our clinical studies saw no reported side effects. You know, aside from the good stuff like great skin, better sleep, and improved mood.

Is there a risk that Nutrafol will lower my sex drive?

No! In fact, part of the inspiration behind Nutrafol was that one of our founders was seeking an alternative solution for his own hair growth issues after experiencing years of sexual dysfunction caused by other therapies. Nutrafol is made from natural, 100% drug-free ingredients, including Saw Palmetto which has been shown to support healthier libido.

Will Nutrafol grow unwanted hair on any other parts of my body?

Excess DHT, one of the root causes of hair thinning, can not only shrink scalp follicles, but it can also cause hair to show up in places you'd rather it not. Saw Palmetto, one of our most important ingredients, has been shown to reduce DHT activity to keep hair growing on your head—and nowhere else.

Is Nutrafol FDA Approved?

The FDA regulates prescription and over-the-counter drugs, not supplements. That said, our natural, 100% drug-free supplements are manufactured in the USA in an FDA-certified facility that adheres to the requirements of the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and uses Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs) to ensure its safety.

Where is Nutrafol manufactured?

Nutrafol is manufactured in the USA in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certified facility. GMP are a set of guidelines outlining a system of manufacturing processes and procedures which gives you the assurance that Nutrafol is produced in a sterile environment and that it contains exactly what is written on the label.

The facility where Nutrafol is produced has been in business for over 20 years and is committed to meeting the ISO 9001:2008, NPA/NSF GMP, CCOF & QAI Organic and INFANCA Halal standards that are consistent with FDA and international cGMP regulatory requirements. Our facilities are registered with the FDA, and inspected by the Department of Agriculture. We source the cleanest available ingredients and verify this by ensuring that they’re tested for proper identification, purity, and for the presence of heavy metals, pesticides, and other chemicals. Testing of the final product for microbiological safety occurs before being packaged with every lot.

Why does the color of my Nutrafol capsules seem to vary from one bottle to the next?

We use plant-derived ingredients in our formulas—and since plants aren't always uniform in color, neither are our capsules. It’s perfectly natural to have slight variations in color from bottle to bottle. This color variation does not affect the performance of the formulas because our ingredients are standardized to ensure consistent potency and efficacy.

After I see results, should I continue to take Nutrafol?

Yes! Seeing results is a positive thing, but a lot of the ingredients in Nutrafol need to be taken consistently to keep showing you those results. If you did not make any lifestyle changes to improve your root causes of poor hair health (like diet, lifestyle exposures, and stress), your body will require the added support of the ingredients in Nutrafol.

Can I take Nutrafol products with other hair-supportive products and supplements?
In general, the ingredients in Nutrafol do not interfere with other products. However, we went the extra mile to make sure that our formulas offer comprehensive hair health support so you can keep your hair regimen simple yet effective.

When it comes to topical treatments, you’re welcome to continue with any products that are currently working for you. As always, if you are on prescription medications, we recommend talking to your doctor before starting any new dietary supplement, including Nutrafol.

Can I take Nutrafol if I'm already taking Biotin?
Technically yes, but we don't recommend it. We use 3000mcg of high-quality Biotin, and there's no research saying that additional Biotin will help. In fact, some customers who get too much Biotin can experience acne breakouts and rashes. Your hair and skin should look great together!

How does stress negatively impact the hair growth cycle?
Stress can cause the hair follicles to shift from a growth state to a rest state. It can also disrupt hormones and nutrient absorption, impacting hair on multiple levels.
We're the only hair supplement that uses Sensoril® Ashwagandha to balance elevated cortisol (stress hormone) and help you build resistance to stress.

What is a naturopathic doctor?
Our team consists of licensed naturopathic doctors—integrative doctors who are trained in both conventional and natural medicine. They take a holistic approach to wellness in which they aim to find the root cause of a problem and focus on supporting the whole body. Common modalities used are lifestyle management, nutrition therapy, Nutraceuticals, and botanical medicine. Their extensive level of education sets them apart from naturopaths, holistic health practitioners, and health coaches who receive certifications rather than degrees.
