Lira Clinical PRO Corrective Pads

— seven-acid exfoliating pads with peptides, probiotics, and brightening botanicals

Count: 25 pads | Use: Evening

What it does for your skin

Pre-dosed treatment pads that deliver a professional-level peel, peptide, and probiotic experience in a single at-home step. Seven acids — glycolic, lactic, salicylic, mandelic, azelaic, kojic, and citric — are combined with Lira's Healing Peptide Delivery System, hexylresorcinol brightening complex, microbiome-balancing probiotics, and a comprehensive botanical brightening complex to exfoliate, renew, brighten, and protect simultaneously. Each pad is perfectly dosed — no measuring, no mess, no guesswork.

Key benefits

  • Seven acids exfoliate from multiple angles — AHAs resurface, BHA clears pores, kojic and azelaic brighten
  • Lira's Healing Peptide Delivery System (three peptides) increases barrier protection during exfoliation
  • Hexylresorcinol — one of the most powerful brightening ingredients available, more potent than kojic alone
  • Probiotic ferment (Lactobacillus + Saccharomyces Lysate) balances the skin microbiome post-exfoliation
  • Mulberry, licorice, bearberry, and Halidrys Siliquosa provide multi-source brightening
  • Pre-dosed pads eliminate application errors — consistent results every use
  • Safe as both pre and post-treatment support for professional facial services
  • 25 pads — approximately 8-12 weeks of use at 2-3x weekly

Best for

Normal, oily, combination, and acne-prone skin types working on texture, tone, dark spots, and anti-aging simultaneously. Ideal for clients who want real results from their at-home routine but prefer the simplicity of a single pre-dosed step over managing multiple acid products. Also an excellent bridge between professional facial treatments.

How to use

After evening cleansing, thoroughly dry skin. Smooth one pad evenly over the entire face avoiding the eye area. For targeted correction on specific dark spots or problem areas, hold the pad on that area for 2-3 seconds. Follow with your evening moisturizer. Do not rinse. Always use SPF 50 every morning — mandatory with any acid exfoliant. Start with 2-3 nights per week and increase as tolerated.

Jasmine's note

“Pre-soaked treatment pads remove the guesswork for clients who struggle with using liquid exfoliants correctly. These are consistently dosed and easy to use, which means clients actually follow through. The AHA and retinol combination makes them unusually effective for a single step. What I particularly appreciate about these is the Healing Peptide Delivery System — Lira specifically designed it to maintain barrier integrity during exfoliation, which is the problem with most multi-acid products. You get the exfoliation without the compromised barrier that usually follows aggressive acid use. I recommend them to clients going between professional treatments who want to keep their results going at home.”

Key ingredients

  • Glycolic Acid — the smallest AHA with the deepest penetration; accelerates cell turnover, resurfaces texture, and fades dark spots
  • Lactic Acid — gentle AHA that exfoliates and simultaneously hydrates; the L-form used here is the chirally-correct, more effective version
  • Salicylic Acid — oil-soluble BHA that penetrates pore lining and dissolves sebum plugs; addresses acne and congestion at the source
  • L-Mandelic Acid — larger-molecule AHA with natural antibacterial properties; gentler penetration that complements the glycolic without adding irritation
  • Azelaic Acid — targets both melanin production and acne bacteria; fades dark marks and reduces breakouts simultaneously
  • Kojic Acid — derived from fungi; inhibits tyrosinase to reduce melanin production and brighten uneven skin tone
  • Citric Acid — AHA that provides mild exfoliation and pH adjustment to optimize the activity of the other acids
  • 4-Hexylresorcinol — one of the most potent brightening ingredients in skincare; studies show it to be significantly more effective than kojic acid alone at reducing hyperpigmentation; rarely found in retail products at effective concentrations
  • Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Myristoyl Nonapeptide-3 & Myristoyl Hexapeptide-5 (Healing Peptide Delivery System) — three peptides specifically formulated to maintain barrier integrity during exfoliation; increase intercellular lipids and barrier protection while the acids work — the ingredient that separates this formula from standard acid pads
  • Rice/Saccharomyces Lysate/Lactobacillus Lysate Filtrate — probiotic ferment complex that rebalances the skin microbiome after exfoliation; prevents the dysbiosis that aggressive acid use can cause
  • Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi (Bearberry) Leaf Extract — contains arbutin, a highly effective natural tyrosinase inhibitor for brightening and dark spot reduction
  • Morus Alba (Mulberry) Leaf Extract — natural tyrosinase inhibitor; works synergistically with bearberry and hexylresorcinol for multi-source brightening
  • Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract — calms redness and provides additional brightening through glabridin
  • Halidrys Siliquosa Extract — sea oak seaweed extract with powerful antioxidant and brightening properties; rarely found in retail skincare and a genuine differentiator in this formula
  • Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate — stable form of vitamin C that brightens and provides antioxidant protection post-exfoliation
  • Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Extract — part of Lira's seven-botanical botanical complex (mallow, peppermint, primula, alchemilla, veronica, melissa, yarrow) that collectively soothes and calms post-acid skin
  • Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract — anti-inflammatory and antioxidant; calms reactive responses and supports cellular organization

Complete your routine

These pads are your evening exfoliation step — build a complete routine around them:

  • Cleanse first with: Face Reality Barrier Balance Creamy Cleanser or Lira Clinical BIO Enzyme Cleanser — a clean, dry canvas is essential before applying the pads
  • After the pad, moisturize with: Lira Clinical BIO Lift Creme for anti-aging focus, or Face Reality Clearaderma for acne-prone skin — the moisturizer seals in the treatment and provides the barrier support the peptides began
  • Alternate nights: Lira Clinical PRO Retinal-Plus Treatment Cream on off nights — pads one evening, retinaldehyde the next — for a comprehensive anti-aging and renewal protocol
  • Dark spots: Lira Clinical PRO Brite-Plus Serum before moisturizer on pad nights for maximum brightening results — the freshly exfoliated skin absorbs the serum significantly more effectively
  • Pre-treatment: Use a pad the evening before a professional facial to prepare skin for deeper treatment penetration
  • Post-treatment: Resume pad use 5-7 days after a professional peel or facial once skin has fully recovered
  • Always finish AM with: Lira Clinical SPF EliōDrops 30 or Face Reality powerMineral SPF 50 — mandatory with any multi-acid product

Frequently asked questions

Why seven acids instead of one or two?

Different acids work at different depths and on different concerns. Glycolic resurfaces texture at the deepest level. Lactic exfoliates and hydrates. Salicylic clears inside pores. Mandelic addresses acne with less irritation than glycolic alone. Azelaic targets melanin and bacteria. Kojic inhibits melanin production. Citric optimizes pH for all the others. No single acid does all of this — using them together at lower individual concentrations achieves broader results with less irritation than using any one acid at a high concentration.

What makes hexylresorcinol special for brightening?

Hexylresorcinol is one of the most effective brightening ingredients available and it's significantly underrepresented in retail skincare. Clinical studies show it outperforms kojic acid at comparable concentrations for reducing hyperpigmentation — and this formula contains both. It inhibits both tyrosinase and peroxidase enzymes in the melanin production pathway, giving it a dual mechanism that most brightening ingredients lack. Finding it in an at-home exfoliating pad at an effective level is genuinely unusual.

What does the Healing Peptide Delivery System do and why does it matter?

The standard problem with multi-acid exfoliants is barrier disruption — the acids remove dead skin but also temporarily weaken the intercellular lipid layer that holds the barrier together, leaving skin reactive and vulnerable.

Why use pads instead of a liquid toner or serum?

Consistency of application. With a liquid toner, the amount applied varies every time — too much, too little, uneven distribution. Each pad delivers exactly the same dose applied in exactly the same way every use. For acid products especially, consistent dosing is what produces consistent results. Clients who struggle with liquid exfoliants — not knowing how much to apply, worrying about getting it on the eyes — find pads eliminate all of that uncertainty and actually follow through on using them regularly.
