Best for

Acne-prone, oily, combination, and sensitive skin. Anyone who has struggled to find a sunscreen that doesn't cause breakouts. Also excellent for post-treatment and barrier-compromised skin thanks to the ceramide and squalane base.

How to use

Apply as the final step of your morning skincare routine. Use a generous amount — about a nickel-sized dollop for the face. Allow to absorb before applying makeup. Reapply every 2 hours in direct sun. Store away from extreme heat above 120°F.

Frequently asked questions

Will this sunscreen clog my pores or cause breakouts?

No — this is one of the few sunscreens I confidently recommend for acne-prone skin. Every ingredient is selected to be non-comedogenic, and the zinc oxide sits on top of skin rather than absorbing into pores. I've never had an acne bootcamp client break out from this SPF.

Why does this contain ceramides and squalane if it's a sunscreen?

Because sun protection and skin care don't have to be separate. The ceramide and squalane base means this SPF actively supports your skin barrier while protecting it — which is especially important for clients in an acne treatment protocol where the skin barrier can be compromised.

Does this leave a white cast?

The iron oxides in the formula help minimize the white cast common with high-percentage zinc oxide sunscreens. There may still be a slight cast on very deep skin tones. For a fully invisible finish on deeper skin tones, I recommend the Lira Clinical Elio SPF Drops as an alternative.

Can I use this as my only morning moisturizer?

If your skin is oily or combination, yes — the squalane and ceramide base provides enough hydration for most oily skin types. If your skin is dry or dehydrated, apply a lightweight hydrating serum first and allow it to absorb before applying the SPF.
