MAKEUP TRIAL
On the day of your wedding, the last thing you want to be worried about is meeting your makeup artist for the first time. Even though we’ll be friends from the minute we meet, why not make the process even smoother with a stress-free trial run before the big day?
Though not required, I HIGHLY recommend a makeup trial so we have ample time to collaborate on the perfect look, and erase the possibility of any day-of stress.
DETAILS FOR THE BRIDAL MAKEUP TRIAL:
-
Come with a clean face/No makeup on.
-
Wear a similar neckline and color of bridal dress (white or off-white, etc.) Reason: white reflects light and will change look of makeup.
-
Arrive with hair styled (it does not have to be exactly what you are wearing at your wedding but it will give you an idea of what you look like with professional makeup.
-
Please bring along all the accessories that you will wear on your neck and above (tiara, veil, earrings, necklace and other accessories).
-
Bring pictures of makeup looks you like. “Inspo” pics from magazines, etc. or Pinterest. Whether you have no idea what you’re looking for or you know exactly what you want, there’s so much inspiration! Create a bridal makeup board, save images you love, and bring the board to your makeup artist.
-
Working with bridal makeup artist can take between 1-2 hours for your trial session. It is helpful to do a little homework before hand to provide your artist with some inspiration photos. These images will most effectively communicate what you want and save a lot of time.
-
If you plan to be “tan” on your wedding day, it's a good idea to have it done for makeup trial.
