Face Reality 10% Acne Med

WHY YOU WILL LOVE IT:

Face Reality's strongest Acne Med contains 10% benzoyl peroxide that penetrates deep into pores. Once there, it fights acne-causing bacteria, helps unclog pores, and keeps them from clogging again. If weaker Benzoyl Peroxide products have helped your skin, but clear skin eludes you, this strength may seal the deal.

• Benzoyl peroxide helps reduce the bacteria that causes acne and aids in peeling the inside of the pore.
• Recommended for skin prone to inflamed acne, non-inflamed acne, and combination acne.

WHO WILL LOVE IT:

Oily skin types with severe acne who have already tried the other strengths of Acne Med.

Sensitive skin types may have a hard time with this. 

RECOMMENDED USE:

Apply a thin layer to the entire blemish-prone area. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes a day at first and increase wearing time gradually until medication can be tolerated all night. Slight irritation and dryness are normal and temporary.

Do not apply cream-based moisturizers or lotions over your Acne Med. This will interfere with the benzoyl peroxide. Using a gel is fine. If going outside, use a sunscreen. Allow the Acne Med to dry, then follow the direction in the sunscreen labeling.

• Face Reality Acne Med is stronger than over-the-counter products. Start with a lower percentage and work up.
• Acne Med may be used over Face Reality Hydrabalance Hydrating Gel or any water-based moisturizers that are acne-safe.

When we determine (Face Reality Professional Products Require Expert Guidance), that a client needs Acne Med, we recommend starting with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. This ingredient gets serious results, but it can be a little harsh. If you need more, we will bump you up to a higher percentage.

INGREDIENTS:

• Benzoyl Peroxide (5%): Water-soluble crystalline powder in the organic peroxide family that works as a bleaching and peeling agent, is antimicrobial, increases cell turnover, reduces bacterial count, clears up existing acne, and prevents future breakouts.
• Glycerin: Provides long-lasting, intense moisture retention
